I think person-by-person is a great way to start – although I’m not very disciplined myself!!!
Earlier this week I submitted a blog to the Canadian Carnival which was about my paternal grandfather Rosaire Theriault and this inspired me to pull out everything I could find about him.
I’m using my blog to organize all my family information a little bit at a time. This inspires to focus and check out what gaps I have.

I find your blog interesting with this handwritten “artefact”.
I think you have the right idea too to just start publishing stuff.I waited many years to start sharing my information with my family, until I finally discovered blogging and realized I could just start doing it – and I’m no longer waiting till everything’s just perfect!
